Agility & Rally Training Day

Brian Cresswell has volunteered to tutor Agility from 9.30 to 11.30 ish. half day course at our centre on Sunday 16 th May.
This is only for handlers and dogs who can already negotiate the equipment. It is not for raw beginners.
For the afternoon Brian will set a practise course before he leaves and Carole will be available to help. Day ends at 4.30pm.

Carole is also tutoring a Rally / practise at intervals during the day.
Cost is £15 per dog & handler.

Puppy

Includes assessment for Kennel Club Puppy Award. Socialisation, basic commands, recall,

Walking on loose lead, inspections and grooming.

Puppy Plus

Work towards Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award. Progression on work covered in puppy, stay exercises, tricks to keep puppy interested, off lead work

Intermediate

Work towards Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver Award. Various recalls. On and off lead work. Emergency stops. Tricks. Roadwork and training with distractions.

Advanced

Progression from Intermediate working towards K.C. Gold Award. Stop commands. Off lead work. Varying speeds. Send away.

Advanced Plus

Progression on all past work. Heelwork to music, working trials, retrieves, finding articles. Training with distractions. Introduction to Agility and Fly ball.

Testing for Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards

£2 per test, which is donated to one of our charities. (Air Ambulance, Friends of Whitchurch Hospital or Belgian Shepherd Epilepsy Fund.)

Test are held at regular intervals, or small groups can arrange a special testing session.
