THE VENUE – directions from:Nantwich(A530)/Stoke on Trent(A525) – at roundabout outside Whitchurch follow road to Shrewsbury (1st exit). The road goes up over railway then drops down to another roundabout. Take last exit (marked Whitchurch) ** in between new brick Township walls, over 3 humps - at the next roundabout fork left (1st exit) passing Doddington Hotel on left. Take 1st left (signed Wrexham/Oswestry) into Rosemary Lane. *Take the first left into Kingsway **** (opp. post sorting office) and at the end of Kingsway bear left onto Alkington Road. Continue for about ½ mile going under the by-pass bridge. Ignore small lane directly on right - Bridge Farm is the next property on the right opposite the township sign for Alkington. The South on A49 or A41 – they join at a large roundabout – follow dual carriageway to Whitchurch /Chester. Get into the right hand lane as the road splits at a roundabout follow the sign to Whitchurch. At the next roundabout take the exit to Whitchurch and proceed as from ** above. Wem (B5476) – follow the signs to Whitchurch. At the roundabout proceed as from ** above. Chester (A41) – at first roundabout in Whitchurch take 2nd exit, ***follow road round to the left, keeping on main road (community hospital on left), at the traffic lights go straight on (Icelands & Kwik Save on right). At mini roundabout outside Tesco take the 2nd exit, go up the hill to the T-junction and turn left, then immediately right (signs to Wrexham / Oswestry) into Rosemary Lane and proceed as from * above. Warrington (A49) – at 1st roundabout in Whitchurch take the last exit to next roundabout, take the 1st exit from that one and then proceed as from *** above. Wrexham (A525) / Oswestry (A495) – at the roundabout just outside Whitchurch take the 2nd exit to Whitchurch. Follow the road to a severe right hand bend. Alkington Road is directly on your right but it is easier to go past and take the next right, immediately after the new building works, into Kingsway and then proceed as from **** above.
